NextWave Essentials is a small New Zealand business I started on 14 February 2025 from my one bedroom apartment. I wanted to create unique, high-quality products that were not widely available in New Zealand. I was working full time, but I felt that if I did not start now, I never would. So I began with a simple plan. Learn as I grow, focus on quality, and build a brand that offers something different.

In June 2025 I expanded into 3D printing. This was something I had wanted to try for years, and once I started, it quickly became the strongest part of the brand. Every 3D printed product is designed and made in New Zealand, with a focus on motorsport and sport-themed décor, collectible desk pieces, and display items.

Quality and customer experience guide every choice I make. I choose or design products that feel special, unique, and different from what is typically available in New Zealand, and I work hard to ship orders within about three working days.

What I'm focused on now

Today the heart of NextWave Essentials is custom 3D printed terrain maps. These are physical, made-to-order maps of the places that mean something to people. Favourite hiking trails, race circuits, hometowns, or once-in-a-lifetime adventures like Everest Base Camp. Each map is built from real elevation data, printed here in Auckland, and refined with the customer until it is exactly right. No two are the same.

Alongside the maps I run a full custom 3D printing service for one-off projects, replacement parts, and business merchandise.
